                                </div><div style='float: left; width: 90%;'>NOTICE OF   PUBLIC HEARING  Public Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Allegheny County Industrial Development Authority (the Authority) on Friday, August 6, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. at One Chatham Center, Suite 900, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15219 on behalf of the County of Allegheny (the County), regarding the issuance by the Iowa Finance Authority of its Revenue Bonds (Lifespace Communities, Inc.) (the Bonds), consisting of one or more series, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $175,000,000. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT AS A RESULT OF THE ONGOING COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD REMOTELY. PERSONS DESIRING TO EXPRESS THEIR VIEWS ON THE PROJECT AND THE FINANCING SHOULD FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED BELOW IN THIS NOTICE.  The proceeds of the Bonds will be loaned to Lifespace Communities, Inc., an Iowa nonprofit corporation (the Corporation), a portion of which, in the maximum principal amount of $6,000,000 will be used by the Corporation to (1) refinance all or a portion of the Kansas Development Finance Authority, Revenue Bonds (Lifespace Communities, Inc.), Series 2010S in the original and outstanding principal amount of $25,685,000, a portion of which was issued to finance and refinance the costs of additions, renovations, remodeling, equipping and miscellaneous capital improvements to the Corporation&#039;s life care community known as Friendship Village of South Hills, located at 1290 Boyce Road, Upper St. Clair, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania 15241, which currently includes approximately 291 independent living apartments including 18 Carriage Homes, 32 memory support units, and 89 skilled nursing beds, and (2) finance the costs of additions, renovations, remodeling, equipping and miscellaneous capital improvements to Friendship Village of South Hills in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 (the Project).  This public hearing does not impose any liability on the Authority, the County, or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or in any way involve the Authority, the County, or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the issuance of the Bonds or the acquisition, construction, improvement and equipping of the Project but is an accommodation by the Authority and the County to satisfy the requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.  Details of the Project can be obtained during regular business hours from the Authority, One Chatham Center, Suite 900, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.  At the public hearing, any and all persons in attendance will be afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed Project and the issuance by the Iowa Finance Authority of its Bonds therefor..
