2026 ROADWAY PAVING PROGRAM
FINDLAY TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA
Sealed bids will be accepted at the Township Secretary's Office, Findlay Township Municipal Building, P.O. Box W, 1271 Route 30, Clinton, PA 15026 until 10:00 AM local time Thursday, February 5, 2026 for Contract 2026-1, 2026 Roadway Paving Program. All bids should be hand delivered to ensure they are received by the deadline. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 AM on the day the bids are received. All bids received after 10:00 AM on February 5, 2026 will be rejected. Bids will be referred to the Engineer for review.
The work includes approximately 44,550 SY of Superpave Bituminous Wearing Course, 15,500 LF of Bituminous Wedge Curb, 44,550 SY of Asphalt Milling, 51,450 SY of Bituminous Seal Coat, Pavement Markings, Traffic Control, and other work as further described in the contract documents. Bid documents may be examined at the office of the Township Secretary located at the Findlay Township Municipal Building (724-695-0500). Copies may be obtained from the Township with a payment of a $50.00 non-refundable fee for each set; this includes both paper copies and copies received electronically. Bid documents can be mailed upon receipt of an additional $15.00 non-refundable fee to cover shipping costs. Payment may be made directly to or made payable to Findlay Township in the form of a check or money order. Bids must be submitted on prescribed forms furnished with the bid documents. The bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, with an original Power of Attorney, a certified check, or a cashier's check in the amount of ten (10) percent of the bid proposal made in favor of the Township of Findlay. Facsimiles will not be accepted and will provide cause for rejection of the bid. State prevailing wage rates are a part of this contract. No bidder shall withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening. Findlay Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award contracts deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
