LOST PAINTING of Pittsburgh by my mother, Barbara Boyd, featured on the cover of WQED's magazine, April 1954. Rendered when she was an art student at Carnegie Tech during the Red Scare, the station asked her to change the colors but Prof. Robert Lepper told her to stick to her guns. Have you seen this painting or other artwork by her, signed "Boyd"? The School of Art reserved the right to keep student work at that time. Where can it be? @BarbaraBoydCarter on Instagram.
