Notice is hereby given that Mosites Construction Company is accepting bids for the following project:
Mid-Atlantic Mothers' Milk Bank (MAMMB)
575 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202
Copies of the contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be obtained at no cost in electronic format through Mosites Construction Company, attention Audrey Szalkuski by phone (412-923-2255 x 216) or by email (audreys@mosites.com), beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Sealed bids will be received via email to milkbankbids@gmail.com until Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 11 AM on the bid forms provided. A virtual bid opening will be conducted on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 2 PM. Please note that a pre-bid information session will be held at the MAMMB Building at 575 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15202 on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 9 AM. All bidders interested in the project are STRONGLY encouraged to attend the pre-bid, as it is very important to view the building's existing conditions.
Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442; Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60 -1.4); Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business
Enterprise); Executive Order 12138 (Utilization of Female Business Enterprise); in compliance with Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July, 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
