Notice of Zoning Hearing
The Zoning Hearing Board of the Borough of Dormont, Pennsylvania, has scheduled a public hearing for 6:00 PM, prevailing time, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Dormont Municipal Building, 1444 Hillsdale Ave., Pittsburgh, PA, 15216, to consider the following application:
Applicant, Bradford Scheiman, the owner of property, 3085 Pinehurst Ave (Parcel ID 98-M-274), Borough of Dormont, in the R-A (Residential Alley-Loaded) Zoning District. The applicant is seeking a variance to the Dormont Zoning Code, Section 210-209 (D)(2), Fence Opacity, where 75% opacity is the maximum, and the applicant wishes to seek 100% opacity. The hearing will be held in the borough council chambers and via Zoom (Please visit www.boro.dormont.pa.us/events to access the Zoom link). Any interested party, resident, or taxpayer is welcome to appear and attend. Copies of the application are available for inspection at the borough office.
