EMPLOYER: Vision RNG; LOCATION: 1000 Noble Energy Dr., Ste 240, Canonsburg, PA 15317; ROLE: Electrical Engineer; FOCUS: Design the latest state-of-the-art gas processing facilities in renewable energy sector, work with project managers as subject matter expert for electrical design of capital projects, assist the infrastructure planning team with early scope development of project power needs & identification of viable sources. DUTIES: Develop electrical equipment layout, single line, interconnecting wiring, embedded conduit, cable tray, heat trace, lighting, & grounding drawings, Generate electrical equipment & construction specifications, Develop power studies including short circuit analysis & incident energy calculations using ETAP or SKM software, Provide quality oversight for electrical designs performed by others, Main point of contact for electrical discipline for project manager, other discipline leads, & customer, Provide electrical engineering support to all phases of project design, execution, installation, commissioning, & operations, Review engineering drawings & instructions for compliance with requirements, Develop & execute test plans for electrical installation & document equipment, Troubleshoot & diagnose issues including electrical systems, Assist in factory acceptance testing & field inspections, Support supply chain in electrical systems & equipment procurement activities, Coordinate details & miscellaneous design criteria with other disciplines, USW industry codes & standards for projects (NFPA/NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, API & ASI), Employ knowledge of electrical distribution systems at low & medium voltages & PLC's, Instrument & Controls, & Plant Programming for projects; REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS electrical engineering or related discipline & 36 months experience as electrical engineer with relevant experience with industrial, manufacturing, or gas processing type projects.
