It gets there anyway

Thank you all a million
In getting the mail where it is bound
And no wonder you stay in shape
All of that walking around

Is it not the mistreatment of animals
Whipping those poor horses throughout
And it really makes me cry
What horse racing is all about

Winning the almighty dollar
And for some silly recognition
And in the process that poor beaten horse
Ending up in a helpless position

I'm sorry if some disagree
But the mistreatment of an animal is a sin
And shame on those riding jockeys
Even doing it on a whim

Just one more thing to mention
Rich people betting on the race as well
With no consideration
at all
That those horses may be going through hell
