MUNICIPALITY OF MT. LEBANON

Sealed Proposals will be received by the Mt. Lebanon Commission at the Municipal Building, 710 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15228 until Tuesday August 25, 2026 at 10:30 AM for the following project:
MT. LEBANON GOLF COURSE - TEE BOX IMPROVEMENTS
This project involves new tee boxes for Holes 4, 7, and 8 of the Mt. Lebanon Golf Course. Work shall include but not be limited to: Erosion and Sedimentation Controls, Grading, Contouring, Drainage, Landscaping and Irrigation. Work will not begin until after golf season, approximately end of October, at a date to be determined by the owner.
Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked on the outside with the wording "MT. LEBANON GOLF COURSE - TEE BOX IMPROVEMENTS". All proposals shall be delivered to the attention of Mr. David Donnellan - Recreation Director before 10:30 am prevailing time, Tuesday August 25, 2026, delivered to the 2nd Floor Managers Office at the Municipal Building, 710 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228 and the same will be publicly opened and read at that time at the Municipal Building Commission Chambers located at 710 Washington Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15228. Pennsylvania Prevailing wage rates will be required on this Contract. Copies of Drawings, Specifications, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Forms of Proposals and Agreements are on file and open to public inspection at the office of The Gateway Engineers, Inc., 100 McMorris Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15205 where sets of said documents may be obtained upon payment of $25.00 per set for the hard copy. No refunds will be made for the return of any documents. An additional $10.00 will be required for each set of plans if they are to be mailed. Electronic files may be requested at no cost. For each of the above contracts, Performance, Maintenance, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement upon acceptance of the Proposal from the successful Bidder. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the Municipality. Proposals must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the Municipality of Mt. Lebanon in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and reserves the right to waive any informality therein. Proposals must be made to the Municipality of Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee.
