Age 89, of Champion, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully at the age of 89, at her home, surrounded by family. She was born April 29, 1928, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Richard Kenneth and Agnes Cecelia Maroney Evans. Agnes was a retired teacher at Saint Joseph Catholic grade school and a member of and Christian Mother at St. Raymond of the Mountains Roman Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Stupar; loving mother of Kathleen Mauer, Joyce Winterhalter, Cecilia Stupar; and son, Frank Stupar; grandmother to Dee Dickerson (Sid), Jennifer Kovesdi (Tibor), Regis Winterhalter (Melissa), Kristen Mauer (Brian), Jeremy Stupar (Darlene), Ryan Winterhalter (Ellen) and Rachael Campbell (Don); adoring great-grandmother of 20 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her stepmother, Dorothy Evans. Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4, 6-9 p.m. Friday in the CLYDE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME, INC., corner of Municipal Building Road and Route 711, Melcroft, PA where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Raymond of the Mountains R.C.
