VALERIA C. (NEE USZKO) ROCH
Age 86, loving mother of Cathleen Napierkowski (husband Daniel), Leslie Rock, Victoria Stilwell (husband Michael), and Matt; devoted grandmother of six; cherished daughter of the late Walter and Jeanny (nee Stolarski) Uszko; dearest sister of five siblings who preceded her in death; dear aunt and great-aunt of many. Valeria was born on February 7, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA and passed away on November 12, 2019 in Cleveland, OH. Living most of her life in North Hills, PA, she was a devoted member of St. Teresa's Church. Val received her nursing degree from St. Francis College of Nursing, and proudly worked as a registered nurse at Divine Providence Hospital. In her spare time, she loved reading, bowling, and knitting. Val was also an avid Pirates and Steelers fan, and enjoyed her trips to the baseball games where she would keep score. Traveling gave her the most enjoyment in life, as she usually had a relaxing moment to relish a perfectly made Manhattan. Val was a loyal Yinzer and will be dearly missed. Valeria's family would like to acknowledge the kind staff at Marymount Hospital and Villa St. Joseph for their compassionate care during her final days. All services private.
