Age 91, died peacefully on September 9, 2017, at Schenley Gardens Senior Living apartments with her husband, Ted and her sons, Nick and Harold by her side. She battled Alzheimer's Disease for several decades and suffered a stroke early this year. She was born in New York City on August 6, 1926, the first daughter of Nick and Mary Zondos, Greek immigrants. She and her sisters, Sonia and Angela grew up in Ambridge, PA. She married Ted Kyriazi from East Pittsburgh on June 3, 1951 and moved around the country with him and her two sons as Ted's career as an industrial engineer with Westinghouse Electric required. Stops included Irwin, PA, Bloomington, IN, Baltimore, MD, Winston-Salem, NC, and Jacksonville, FL, capped by 40 golden years in the Upper St. Clair suburb of Pittsburgh. In addition to raising two boys, she had a number of interests over the years including oil painting, ceramics, singing in the church choir, and playing piano, bridge, and tennis. With a curious, warm, and friendly disposition, she was loved by all and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, sons, sisters, cousins, and many in-laws of all ages. Viewings will be Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at BEINHAUER'S FUNERAL HOME, 2630 W. Liberty Ave., Dormont, 412-531-4000, where a Trisagion will be held Friday 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Mt.
