Of McKeesport, Oct. 18, 1926 to Nov. 18, 2017, is being celebrated by her family for her 91 years of life and the difference she made in so many lives. Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joe and Ruth (Suarez) Gonzalez; and a sibling. She is survived by her loving brother and best friend, Joe Gonzalez; sister-in-law, Trish Gonzalez; nieces, Terry (Gonzalez) Miller, Jo Ellen (Gonzalez) Campbell, Kelley (Gonzalez) Perry, Kim (Ault) Cartwright, Kris (Ault) McCoy; great-nieces, Shannon (Miller) Hersker, Chelsea Campbell, Gabrielle McCoy, Addie Hunnicutt; great-nephews Corey Miller, Garrett Hunnicutt, Mitchell McCoy, Justin Cartwright; and great-great-niece, Myah Hunnicutt. She was a graduate of McKeesport Area High School, class of 1944 and had a successful administrative assistant and notary career spanning almost 50 years starting at Union Clothing Co., Tube City Lincoln Mercury, Peckman Lincoln Mercury, McKeesport Chrysler Plymouth, eventually retiring from McKeesport Area High School as secretary and union president. Eleanor loved her family and many friends dearly. She most enjoyed giving gifts and meeting friends for good meals and fellowship. Eleanor had a special way with people and she would have wanted us to tell her friends how much she enjoyed and loved spending time with them. She grew up and lived her life in Christy Park and was a member of the Christy Park United Methodist Church for many years. A special farewell service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Christy Park United Methodist Church, 436 29th Street, McKeesport.
