CUMMINGS
CAROLINE (PASCUZZI) MAGASANO
Age 85, of Garden City, Monroeville, PA, passed away September 14, 2017, with her family by her side. Caroline was born in North Braddock, PA on September 18, 1931, to the late Nicola Pascuzzi and Antoniette (Giovenazzo) Pascuzzi Katis. Caroline is survived by her four daughters, Cathy (Terry) Luffy of VA, Caroline (Glenn) Mull of Penn Township, PA, Christina (BJ) Reaves of VA, and Cindi Hutchison of Murrysville, PA; and her grandchildren, Celena (Bruce) Perkinson, Maranda Mull, Emma Mull, Cross Hutchison, Jordan Hutchison, and Samantha Hutchison; her great-granddaughters, Ava Perkinson and Brycen Perkinson; and her sisters, Toni Quinn and Nicka (Steve) Loock. Caroline also leaves behind many other loving family members, including Toni Turner, and longtime friends, which include Millie Morris. In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in death by her second husband, John Cummings; and Chuck Wolcott, her companion of many years; her brothers, Carmine Pascuzzi, and John Pascuzzi; and her sister, Maria Ruperto. Caroline was a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital and various hospitals in the Pittsburgh area. She was passionate about caring for others and beheld great love for people. Caroline's faith sustained her and she was a member of Saint Bernadette's Parish. She belonged to the Monroeville Chorus, and has always loved to sing and perform in local community events. Caroline was committed to learning everything from cooking gadgets and appliances to tech savvy electronics. The family extends warm thanks to the many who supported Caroline and her family during her long illness. Thanks also to UPMC East, William Penn Care Center, and Canterbury Place Hospice for their loving care. There is no other like Caroline and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. (MONROEVILLE / PLUM CHAPEL), corner of Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Memorial Mass, 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at St. Bernadette Parish. Interment to follow in All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
