Age 76, of Daytona Beach, FL, originally from Carnegie, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. After surviving cancer, Jack's outlook on life led him to become a more passionate family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Marlene (Hilker) of ten years; sons, John (Rebecca), Jimmy (Lenda), Jason (Becky); daughters, Kelly Zisko (Tom), Kathy Darr (Rich); stepdaughters, Lori Potts (Drew) and Becki Furedy (Steve); brother, David; grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. After being honorably discharged in 1964 from the US Navy where he served on the USS Springfield, Jack became a policeman serving the communities of Mt. Lebanon and Carnegie, PA. He ended his working years as a home inspector. Jack loved hunting, the Pittsburgh Steelers, golfing and especially spending time with his family. Jack was always there to lend a helping hand to all of his friends of Indigo Pines. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Jack's life at Queen of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, 2900 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317 on Friday, November 17, 2017, at 1 p.m.
