Age 89, of Pittsburgh,
passed away peacefully
Monday, September 17, 2018,
surrounded by her devoted
family. She was born
December 30, 1928, in
Pittsburgh, a daughter of the
late Theodore and Inez
(Caldrer) Emery. Arlene was a
loving wife, mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother,
sister, aunt and friend. Prior to
retiring, she was employed as
a telephone operator. In
addition to her parents, she
was preceded in death by her
loving husband of 50 years,
Milton D. Barnes. Arlene will
be dearly missed by her
beloved family. She is survived
by her son, Paul Barnes
(Robin) of Delmont; daughter,
Cindy Hurney (Dennis Daley) of
Export; sister, Vivian Lloyd
(Harold) of Pittsburgh; and
nieces and nephews. Arlene
will be especially missed by
her grandchildren, Matthew
Hurney (Holly), Paul Barnes
(Sarah), Jennifer Stokes
(Shawn), Pamela Barnes (Tony)
and Leanne Hurney; and greatgrandchildren,
Morgan, Andrew,
Damon, Alexander, Nathan,
Joseph, and Brandon, all of
whom she cherished. She will
also be missed by her puppy,
Lola. Respecting Arlene's
wishes, all arrangements will
