Rank and tenure track status will be determined based upon the qualifications, skills and experience of the successful candidate. Completed doctorate preferred or working toward a doctorate in educational technology or a related field. Candidate must have experience with educational technology integration and STEM education. A minimum of five years teaching experience in K-12 technology education, secondary math or science with active public school teaching certification(s) in 7-12 math or science and Instructional Technology Specialist certification is preferred. The successful candidate will teach twelve credit hours per semester in the area of educational technology integration, secondary math and science, and other teacher preparation courses as background and curricular needs dictate. In addition, the individual will be expected to perform normal teaching duties at the college level including advising; mentoring and supervising student teachers and field experiences; developing, reviewing and revising curriculum; participating in service to the University, the discipline and the local educational community. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University's Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.
